Two years in the making, Cassiopeia was meticulously handcrafted by GRAMMY®-nominated producer and composer Christian Beat Hirt. The instrument captures the sonic character of over 30 legendary analog synthesizers and modular systems, alongside more than 250 acoustic instruments, thousands of nature and ASRM sounds, multiple male and female vocalists, and four professionally recorded choirs.

Complementing these recordings is a vast collection of meticulously designed textures, cinematic soundscapes, and custom source material, all carefully multi-sampled and expertly processed to create an exceptionally versatile palette.

Every sound source was individually recorded, edited, and refined by hand to preserve its unique character while delivering the highest possible sound quality. The result is an inspiring instrument that combines the warmth of vintage hardware with the flexibility and precision of a modern hybrid synthesizer.

Christian's journey began in the mid-1990s with releases on independent dance labels and has since evolved into an internationally recognized career spanning chart-topping productions, remixes, and collaborations. Highlights include co-producing “Come With Me” by Nora En Pure, EDX's remix of “Show Me Love” by Sam Feldt, as well as countless successful releases under his acclaimed aliases Passenger 10 and Me & My Toothbrush.

By introducing an innovative layer morphing engine driven by LFOs, a fully customizable XY Pad, and independent layer-based AHDSR envelopes, Cassiopeia transforms static samples into dynamic, expressive, and constantly evolving sounds. Every layer can be mixed, shaped, and modulated independently, unlocking a level of movement and creativity rarely found in sample-based instruments.

Complementing the sample engine is a fully integrated wavetable synthesizer featuring 120 brand-new custom wavetables. Wavetable position and other key modulation parameters can be modulated via the XY Pad, LFOs, and additional modulation sources, seamlessly blending the worlds of multi-sampled sound and modern wavetable synthesis.

A true sound-design workstation should go far beyond synthesizers. That's why we also deep sampled over 250 acoustic instruments, multiple solo vocalists, professionally recorded choirs, thousands of nature recordings, ASMR performances, an extensive collection of birds, and a wide variety of wind chimes and organic textures.

To capture the most authentic natural ambiences, we travelled to diverse locations across Switzerland (including both the Alps and the lowlands), South Africa, Colombia, and Tennessee, USA, recording unique environmental sounds that bring life and realism to your sounds and productions.Complementing the sample library is a collection of 120 exclusive custom-designed wavetables, created specifically for Cassiopeia and organized into three dedicated categories. We also produced a wide range of inspiring musical content, including piano licks in both major and minor keys, chord-based patches, modular synthesizer chaos textures, cinematic atmospheres, and evolving sound-design elements.
